Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet Review: A Mixed Bag for Sleepy Parents

As a parent, there's nothing more daunting than trying to get your little one to sleep peacefully. That's why we were excited to try out the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet with Cry Detection Technology, which promises to help your baby fall asleep and stay asleep using its innovative technology. But does it live up to the hype?

After using the bassinet for a few weeks, I have to say that our experience was...mixed. On the one hand, we did find some features of the bassinet to be quite useful. The rocking motion and vibrating function seemed to really calm our baby down, and the bassinet itself was easy to assemble (thanks to my husband's 15-minute effort!) and fit into our tiny bedroom.

On the other hand, we didn't find that the bassinet was a miracle worker when it came to helping our baby sleep. The music and white noise features were barely audible, which made them less effective than we had hoped. And while the rocking motion did help our baby relax, it didn't actually seem to help him fall asleep or stay asleep for longer periods of time.

We also found that the mattress pad was surprisingly comfortable, but we did have some difficulty getting our baby to sleep in the bassinet for more than 45 minutes at a time. And when it came to reflux babies like ours, we found that the bassinet's design made it difficult to adjust the angle or add any extra support underneath the mattress.

That being said, I do think that the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet has some great features that might make it a good choice for other parents. The cry detection technology does respond well to your baby's tears, and the bassinet itself is sturdy and easy to clean.

Overall, while we didn't find the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet to be a miracle worker, it did have some useful features that might make it worth considering for other sleepy parents. Just be aware of its limitations, and don't expect it to solve all your sleep problems overnight.
